Goodbye 2021...

Thinking of you, 2021

I don’t know about you but this year feels like 3 years mixed together.

If I mentally rewind to January 2021, when there was very little to do beside worrying of times ahead and fast forwarding to this Summer when events were in full swing again, my insane schedule continued up to the end of November…and now I pause, breathe and feel proud. Proud of surviving, proud of still loving what I do, every day after so many years.

This is a simple thank you to everyone who believes in me and my team. My passion and drive is honest because I want my work to speak for itself while enjoying doing it.

To 2022, to no expectations, to no resolutions…Just good intensions. Maybe next year is the year that I will learn to go with the flow.

With Love,

Ivana and Lo Studio team

The Fashion Awards with Moët & Chandon

The Fashion Awards with Moët & Chandon

2021 marks the first year of Moët & Chandon‘s partnership with the British Fashion Council as the official champagne of The Fashion Awards.

Moët hosted old and new friends of the brand at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate fashion’s role at the intersection of culture, and the creativity of the exceptional individuals within it who are transforming the future of the industry for the better.

The awards serve as a powerful reminder of the creative industry’s power to affect change and shape culture, as well as a joyful opportunity to come together and raise a glass to the milestones of 2021.

Wes Anderson X Belmond British Pullman

Wes Anderson X Belmond British Pullman

In October, Belmond revealed their latest design partnership with legendary director and creative visionary, Wes Anderson. Paying tribute to both the golden age of cinema and travel, Wes Anderson has reimagined the Cygnus carriage aboard the legendary British Pullman train.

To celebrate, we brought together a group of creatives to enjoy a five-course lunch alongside the beautiful views of the circular route from London to Kent and back. Truly an unforgettable experience, particularly for Wes Anderson obsessives such as myself!

Fashion Trust Arabia 2021

Fashion Trust Arabia 2021

The Fashion Trust Arabia Prize is the first initiative of its kind in the Arab world, motivated by the success of the British Fashion Council Foundation in supporting the region’s most talented emerging designers. With an initial mission to provide financial support, guidance and mentorship to emerging designers in the MENA region, FTA has grown into a platform of opportunity through which every talented Arab designer can grow and receive international recognition.

This year, to celebrate the prize after a year-long hiatus, FTA brought together international figures from the creative industry to toast the winners of the 2021 Prize, with a ceremony at the breathtaking National Museum of Qatar, hosted by Irina Shayk and a live performance from Lianne La Havas.

A special thank you to Fashion Trust Arabia’s Honorary Chair HH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser and co-chairs HE Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani and Tania Fares

Vault by Vans X Aries

Vault by Vans X Aries Collaboration

Vans and Aries celebrated their second collaboration at friends and family at the Serpentine North Gallery in Hyde Park, with music by DJS Akira Woodgrain, Dennis Mcinnis, Leo Gibbon and Martelo.

Inspiration for the collection comes from a  “customise your own Vans” poster Aries founder, Sofia Prantera discovered while working at Slam City Skates. “We wanted the collaboration to follow this accidental recipe; some colours don’t quite match like they have been made of found pieces of material; graphics and logos are incoherent; random apocalyptic stories appear on the soles; while the phrase “go your own way” and “Art Trip” reinforce the message of individuality and rule breaking that is shared by both brands.”
