Celebrate

As I turn a year older today, in such an unprecedented year, it is more important than ever to find what brings you joy… and I really did. I knew I would not be able to be with friends today, therefore before lockdown, I asked my dear friend James D. Kelly to take our family portraits. We have never had them done before and James is the best photographer, such a kind soul, able to capture emotions by making everyone feel at ease. We laughed, we had so much fun, my boys were so curious about the dynamics, asking him questions about the art of taking photos… moments like this are exactly what I have come to treasure and this is exactly my point.

Celebrate, learn, create, enjoy, dream, love, do, be…whatever it is that you may do, every day in your life is special, it should not only be lived, it should be celebrated.

Today it is my birthday.
When I look back at this year, I do feel happier, wiser and more serene and I am celebrating it like never before.
